Adonis
rEHOMING SUCCESS STORY
Adonis was a 3-year-old boy who came into our care because he was at risk of being put to sleep.
He has previously been living with a disabled gentleman and, unfortunately, had very little opportunity for regular walks or the experiences that help a dog build confidence out in the world.
As a result, Adonis was anxious when out and about, but since coming into our care, he had been working hard on his lead training and was making great progress.
On his 5th home now and worth the wait. Below is Adonis’s story with his new owners.

“When we first heard about Adonis, we knew we had to meet him, having recently lost our last Dobermann who was also a rescue and who’d needed a lot of work and training, we were ready for a challenge especially knowing we would be his 5th home.
Nothing could have prepared us though for just how loving and joyous Adonis now called Kyro was, a little overweight and just lacking love, it was clear this was not a dog that was mad at the world or needing serious training but just a dog who needed humans who would give him a fraction of the love he would give them.
We got straight to work showing him that we were his forever home and going to love and care for him anyway he deserved. It took a couple of months of regular exercise, plenty of play and love for him to become perfect companion.”

“He spends his days at work with his mum, where he greets hundreds of people as they come to our MMA gym, kids and hardened professional fighters alike wait patiently to see him and give him some fuss.
Whether we are off on holiday with him, taking on a new adventure or just having a lazy day watching a film, Kyro just asks that you give him some fuss and love as he is with you every step of the way a companion who knows nothing but love.”
