Sometimes a dog arrives that very little is known about, but they capture somebody’s heart .. and in this case it was Tyson who a few years ago captured Anns heart. Tyson is an 11-year-old Black/Tan Dobermann, he has been a sponsor dog for the last 5 years.

Tyson cannot be rehomed. He is very nervous which makes him a little bit quirky. As a team, our priority is that any dog coming in to our Doberman Rescue feel safe and secure. Tyson only feels safe and secure in his Kennel.

Tyson does go out in the paddock every day on a long line but he does not get that same comfort as he does in his kennel environment.

He likes his bed and he likes his yellow bone that he likes to carry. He is a good eater and he is also a very good sleeper, so good a sleeper that he does snore quite loudly.

His kennel is full of toys but the big yellow bow is his favourite.

Support the life of a Dobe in need

Some Dobermanns come to us having been poorly treated, or have other problems which makes rehoming difficult.

Our staff and volunteers provide these boys and girls with familiar faces and sanctuary, helping the Dobes recover from their past.

Some dogs can become distressed when confronted with unfamiliar visitors, so it’s not always possible to meet your SponsaDobe, but we always try to accommodate visitors where possible.
